Raisin River is like any other campground with the exception that there was something off to a certain degree. We view this story through the eyes and ears of a young girl named Bailey. Who practically grows up at the campground while also traveling back and forth throughout the years. Going from a preteen into a fine young woman. Each season she was presented a new challenge. As well as chasing one adventure after the next. We learn about a dark history that took place long before her stay. In order to tackle this so-called dark presence Bailey and her friends join forces. While also trying to enjoy their summer and building what seems to be a long lasting friendship. I would like to point out that this story is intended for an audience who struggles with reading and comprehension. Like myself which is why I wanted to write something that everyone can read. For many years I could never find a book that would hold my attention. Nor have something I just read stick in my mind. Which made for the story that was being told disappear into thin air. Hopefully this is easier to retain. I am optimistic about the whole writing process since this is my first novel. So without a future ado I hope you enjoy my story about Raisin River.

There is a darkness lurking behind the scenes. As they attempt to discover what is buried underneath the surface, Bailey has these visions that give her a very frightful scare. Making for a growing concern for what these visions may bring to light. With mystery following behind, how will this group find time to live out their time as normal teenagers in the endless summers to come. Live every summer like your last and hold memories close. There’s no telling when things may come to an end.
About the Author
Taylor Rae is a first time author who is optimistic about her writing journey. She grew up camping at the same campground for many years. This experience has inspired her to rewrite an intriguing story that revolved around her friends and many other experiences that took place. Which led her to shape an intriguing fictional story, while still including her real-life memories. She lives in Wooster, Ohio with her highschool sweetheart.
