Embracing God's Love

About the Book

Writing this book has given me the courage to ask God to open my eyes, so I may see Him working in my life and to see myself the way He does. I am reminded when Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, LORD, so that he may see.” Then the LORD opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha” (2 Kings 6:17 NIV). As I read the inspiring contents of the book of Habakkuk, particularly in chapter 2:2-3, when Habakkuk asked God to write the vision and make it plan “Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it lingers, wait for; it will certainly come and will not delay” (NIV). These scriptures have shed light on the vision that God laid on my heart which is to inspire women and young ladies to recognize their Glorious Crown, God placed upon them. My vision is to help women see they are the Esther and Ruth of the 21st Century. They have a calling which is unique and can only be completed by them. We, as Christian women, have been called for a specific and special mission, and that mission is to help young girls to recognize who they are. In the book of Habakkuk when God wanted him to make it plain to His people to advance, I too, want to make it plain to women they have great value in our society.

About the Author

Hazel Miller is a committed Christian and servant of God. She actively works in the Outreach Ministry in her congregation. She believes God called her for a specific purpose, in His Kingdom. Hazel was born in Isola Ms.; she is the tenth of elven children by Booker T. and Roberta Redmond. She has strong connections with her siblings and often refers to them as her best friends. Through her devoted prayer life and intimate relationship with God, she embraced her purpose, serving God and His people. Her brother Jessie referred to her as the little odd duck, in the family. At first, she could not understand his analogy, until he shared; her passion for others and ability to help others discover their passion is special, which makes her stand out from others. She reflected on what Christ said to his disciples, “ Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant” (Matthew 20:26-28 NIV).
