By Chance Imagine meeting Rick at your favourite pub fo Sunday lunch, and you get chatting over a drink in front of a roaring fire about his racing exploits. Well this is just how this book is. Heart-warming! Written honestly and candidly, it tell his story of a club racer, making his way in the racing world. Sometimes we forget the sacrifices some make to get ahead, and racing is no exception. Lots of references to other drivers I admired in my youth and some generous references to he marshals. A great book, well worth the money and if you like club racing, this is the book for you.

ONCE YOU START READING IT YOU CAN'T STOP As a long time friend and sponsor who had read Rick's autobiography, i looked forward to seeing his latest book with great anticipation. it was worth the wait. Once I started I could not put it down until i finished! Many happy memories were recalled and a few things learnt which i never knew before. Cannot recommend it more highly to those who love motor racing and how to succeed in an industry where you usually need a mega budget, by using energy enthusiasm and sheer hard work with an amazing personality to match.
