Once upon a time in a faraway country there lived a family with a divine destiny. Jack Equinus and his wife Jennette were a God honoring family from the village of Equidae. Equidae was a small town just outside of the great city; Jerusalem where lots of animals lived and worked together. Everyone in the village loved Jack and Jennette dearly, and they fondly referred to them as Father-J and Mother-J. And it came to pass in the course of time that Mother-J was with child.

About the Book
On the backdrop of the resurrection season, Ryan the Chosen is a timeless fictional account of actual biblical events. It is the story of a special donkey chosen by Jesus triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Ryan whose name means little king was chosen out of all the donkeys in the land for such a time as this. This is the story of his destined encounter with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
About the Author
It is said that a family that prays together stays together. These two authors also believe a family that prays together will help to shape the next generation of believers. With this purpose in mind, Equator Stroman Cheek teamed with her daughter Raychon A. Stroman to help bring her brainchild, Ryan the Chosen to life. As Christians and ministers of the gospel, they are on a mission to spark biblical wonder and creativity for generations to come. Equator is a retired project analyst, Sunday school teacher and the author of And the Beat Goes On. Raychon is a former educator, creative artist and the author of Ray of Love. They both currently reside in Maryland.
