About the Author
About the author Samuel “Sammy” Deutscher is semiretired, is a volunteer reading tutor with the Palm Beach Reading coalition, and likes to coach youth soccer. About the illustrator Tina C. Wood, born in Slovenia, has been an artist since the age of fourteen. Tina created the illustrations for this book entirely from Sammy’s vintage family photos.
