About the Author

Brother Despot was blessed to grow up in the church, and at a young age give his heart and life to Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. At his home church he was active in both children’s and youth ministries, and sang in several youth choirs in Philadelphia. Keith would continue with his walk with the Lord through his teen years. During his college years always having a love for children, Keith would work as a volunteer with the local “Big Brother” program for at risk inter city children. After college and marrying the love of his life, Keith and his wife would make their home church at the New Covenant Church of Philadelphia. Again Keith begin working with child in the churches Vacation Bible School ministry and others. The church began noticing his love for children, and he and his wife would be asked to be co directors of the churches V.B.S. ministry, which they held for four years. After that blessed assignment ,together they had the privilege to become directors of the churches Covenant Club Children’s ministry, a year around follow up program to V.B.S, which they also held for four years. Today Bro. Despot is still working in the churches V.B.S. ministry as one of the groups Creative Experience instructor. Bro. Despot’s aim is not to direct children just to church but to Christ, to not emphasize just religion but a relationship with Jesus Christ.
