The story takes place in modern day, a curious forest vampire who has not seen humanity for over a hundred years. Finds friendship and love with one of the humans; that he had sworn to hate. This leads to a story of how Adair gets entangled into the cruelty and hardships that is human society.

Yet even with human’s hatred for his kind deepening which could lead to a breakout of war and his home and kind’s hidden existence at risk of being exposed. Adair remains hopeful in returning home to the coven he loves and swears to protect.
