Apple Spice Cake Ingredients – Dry Ingredients 1 Box of Yellow Cake Mix ½ Teaspoon of Ground Cloves 3 Teaspoons of Cinnamon ¼ Teaspoon of Pumpkin Spice ¼ Cup of Sugar (if desired) Wet Ingredients 3 Eggs ¼ Cup of Vegetable Oil 1 Cup of Applesauce 4 Large Apples or 6 Medium Apples (Variety of Your Choice) Utensils, Bowls and Cookware – • Large Bowl for the Dry Ingredients • Medium Bowl for the Wet Ingredients • Large Spoon • 9x13 inch Baking Dish • Sharp Knife • Measuring Cup & Spoons Preparation Instructions – • Preheat the Oven to 350º • Grease the Baking Dish thoroughly with Butter • Add the Dry Ingredients to the Large Bowl and Mix well • Add the Wet Ingredients to the Medium Bowl and Mix well • Peel the Apples and cut them up (Turn the apples stem side down and cut off large/wide slices Cut the slices longways into thirds, then sideways into 1/2” pieces) • Drop the apple pieces into the Wet Ingredients Bowl and Mix again as you cut each apple (prevents browning) • Pour the Wet Ingredients into the Dry Ingredients Bowl and Mix well • Pour the combined mixture into the greased Baking Dish Baking Instructions – • Bake the Apple Spice Cake mixture for 35 minutes
