I have witnessed the Great Depression, World War II, the Korean and Vietnam Wars and incredible advances in education, science and medicine. I have been privileged to be part of a distinguished family and to have known many wonderful friends. This memoir, of course, cannot recall every single event and experience of ninety years. I hope it will give a picture of life as it was in the 1930's and onward, as well as a snapshot of who I was and whom I became, with the myriad influences on my life throughout the years.

How has life changed in the last ninety years? A look back at growing up in the 1930's and '40's, and raising a Jewish family through the following decades. There were ups and downs but always with a sense of humor.
About the Author
Nancy Isaacs Klein was born and brought up in Yonkers, New York and spent her entire life there. She is a graduate of Barnard College and pursued a career as a volunteer, serving as president of several organizations over the years. She is the manager and chief volunteer of her hospital gift shop. Her favorite title is “Mama” or “Great-Mama” to her large family of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is the author of “Heritage of Faith”, the biographies of her father and grandfather, and of “A Life of Joy -the Sidney Klein Story”, about her husband.
