Truth, Styled by You I see you here Quietly, trying to find you She told me it would be better to tell a story Without the real words Put it in a game of Hide-and-Seek And leave you all guessing And leave ‘me’ as an ambiguous kind-of question And so I laid it down, I wrote Tilt-a-Whirled some truth for you Into a story With absolutely no proof And I used dark and light And day and night And metaphors to make wrong feel right It was all a mystery Perhaps even history All just words on paper—allegory And when they read it, they all tried And those close to her, they all cried And some of them probably thought she lied But here, there’s no such thing as truth The truth was always just styled by you And this, it’s what we’ve both been through Keynote: The Marketing Headline (keynote) or “elevator pitch” should consist of one or two sentences that succinctly tell readers what the book is about and why they should buy it. About the Author
Amanda Wilson has a bachelor’s degree in English from Radford University, a master’s degree in Business Administration/Marketing from American Public University, and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree from Walden University in Business Administration/Organizational Leadership. She is a member of Leadership West Virginia’s Class of 2017; featured as a 2018 Who’s Who, and completed a Women’s Educational Leadership certificate from Harvard University’s Extension School in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 2018. Amanda is an honorary member of the Golden Key International Honor Society and a member of the National Society for Collegiate Scholars. Amanda currently resides in Berkeley County, West Virginia; and is working in higher education. She enjoys spending time with her children, travelling, writing, and listening to music outdoors.
