About the Author

My name is Pat Taylor-Reid. I live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I would like to thank you for purchasing my book. The inspiration for this book came while pursuing my Child Development Associate (CDA) Certificate in early childhood education. From my adolescent years to adulthood, I have cared for children for many years. I started out as a babysitter and transitioned into working at a Childcare Center in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. While there I have worked in every department at the center. First working in the nursery and then moving into the Lead Teacher position in the Pre K3 pre-kindergarten class.
