I'm dying to forget the memory of you It won't stop haunting me, no matter what I do When we ended things, I thought I left you behind, But I can still hear your laugh, in the back of my mind You treated me wrong, so I left, but the ghost of you stays with me No one will believe this, I can't even go to therapy I finally found someone else, so please, leave me alone I stay awake every night, listening to my house creak and moan Fearing it is your memories, walking though the hallway Waiting for me to fall asleep, so you can drift back into my brain Thinking about it makes me crazy, I think I've gone insane I wish all of your memories would die off, and finally leave my head But ghosts cannot die, for they are already dead.

About the Author
Daniel Strong was born Dec. 6, 1997. He was born in California, but moved to Tennessee at a young age. Daniel attended Austin Peay State University, majoring in Psychology. He also took creative writing courses at the university. Daniel has loved writing and making poems, all of his life. Cloud Thoughts is his first book.
