Move away from how you used to be, And look forward to your future… Forget the past, you’ll find security, About the life you will incur. For everyone feeling sadness in this time of insecurity, this was written for you! Feature Piece Calm It’s time to be calm, We’ve gained time with loved ones, And reflect on how we… As the whole world has stopped… As a people, a nation, Took the time to slow down, Have learned how to be. Look how we’d been robbed. Be thankful for family, Of the peace and tranquility, And all our good friends… That this rat race takes… For that’s how it should be, Away from our ability, In time we will mend. To see what’s right in our face. And someday we’ll look back, This newfound reality, And we’ll truly see… That we’ve come to know… Our country was attacked, Days pass with uncertainty, By an unseen enemy. But forward we’ll go. But what it has taught us, We have been blessed to be, As a nation you see… Safe and sound in our homes… We all made such a fuss, And we will remove fear, But it was a blessing to me. As we joyfully overcome.
