About the Book

The writer of this book writes short stories take us places that lie deep in her heart. Places she has visited or places she imagines her characters are experiencing. She writes so she can go on the journey with her characters and takes others, like you, with her. The story about Gregory P Holmbs is an homage to her beloved father. Most of her stories end in hope as she experienced a miracle in her darkest hour of her liife. Her poems are glimpses into many of her moods.

About the Author

Life was pretty normal for her. She obtained a degree in environmental biology at UCLA and then taught environmental education. But that wasn’t enough so she obtained a second degree in nursing so she could help others as her mother and father had. She got married and had a daughter but tragedy hit when she lost her second daughter and became inconsolable. But from that she wrote and dedicated her writing to her second daughter Alexis. And this book is some of what she wrote.
