About the Book

A collection of poetry and prose that dives into the heart of a growing teenage girl. It talks of how she hurt, how she learned, and how she grew from her many life experiences. This young girl had to hurt and learn in order to really truly know that she had a mind full of flowers and that she should never sacrifice that for anyone.

About the Author

Marissa Mae, or Marissa Durst, is a new and young author being born only in 2002. She excelled in junior high and highschool with a strong passion for English and all its aspects. On Marissa’s journey through highschool she learned the importance of self-love and kindness, and she wants to share her new findings with everyone by writing about them. Marissa lives in Concord, California with her family.
