Abuse comes in many forms; physical, emotional, sexual, etc. Freedom is about a girl who's will to survive her abuse brings her to knowing God. She learns to have hope, peace and strength through His love for her as she begins a new journey, because as Emma learns, it is never too late to start your life over.

About the Author

K. Melissa Cordova is a writer & poet, whose goal is to inspire women through her stories. She is a domestic, sexual and narcissistic abuse survivor who found hope and peace through God's love. She has a degree in Human Services and is an Executive Director at a firm on Wall Street, New York. Lissa is the President of The Journey Foundation, Inc. which serves to help women and children in need.
