About the Book
‘Ode To Others’ is simply that. All of the poems were written for or about people the Author is or was close to and/or has been inspired by in some way. Family, friends and even total strangers have provided the inspiration, from everyday actions to extraordinary moments.
About the Author
Author Danny Mahlon Underwood has been writing poetry, since the summer of 1976, when he penned his first poem ‘My Grandfather’. With the encouragement of his English Teacher in his Freshman year of High School. He overcame the stigma of being a Remedial English student to become a multi time published Author. His simple style has become a staple of his books, however he is able to communicate his messages very clearly, yet evoking great emotion and deep thought in his readers.
