About the Book

“Dreams Can Come True” is a fictional children’s book that takes a little girl named Stephanie on the adventure of a lifetime. Stephanie has always dreamed of becoming a “STAR”. What she doesn’t know is that Stella Star and Father Star are listening to her wishes. Come along with Stephanie and see where this exciting book can take you!!!

About the Author

Loretta and her husband of 37 years have three children and two grandsons. She was born in Bronx, NY and raised in Rome, Georgia attending undergraduate school in Rome as well. Loretta taught kindergarten and first grade in Rome City and Floyd County schools for 36 years . She obtained her Masters degree in Early Childhood and a Specialist degree in Leadership at LMU and currently serves as a Literacy Coach for Floyd County Schools. She wrote “Dreams Can Come True” during a writing class while obtaining a Masters degree at Georgia College. She honors her deceased parents, Joe and Ceil , who helped with the original illustrations, by publishing it. They always told her that her “Dreams could come true”! Every year she and her classes would write books together and write to their favorite authors like Robert Munsch, Eric Carle, Mercer Meyer just to name a few. These authors helped inspire her to publish “Dreams can come true”!
