And if you look hard enough, those pretty ones can be pretty goofy. Universally translated, this is a book that is all pictures. As pictures work better when you are sick, hearing the voice of a loved one telling you the story while you look at the picture can be comforting.

About the Author

Joseph Valorani has been a fire fighter for over 30 years and has been an award winning artist for over 40 years. His artwork has been seen in advertising, murals on walls and motorcycles, as well as smaller piece for various customers around the world. His encounter with a young cancer survivor inspired the book, her love of Zebras and Penguins, to the fact that everyone treated her different during her treatments. She found friends in an unusual group of people who came together to help.
