The Four Buttons is a book written to help children learn about accepting change. One by one, each button falls off its owner Jake’s shirt. The buttons start off scared, not knowing what is going to happen to them. However, each button goes on a great adventure. The buttons learn that even though change can be scary, it can also lead to wonderful things.

About the Author

Lisa Emmitte-Nelson was born and raised in Texas. In 2017, Lisa retired after twenty-nine years in the field of education, twelve of which were spent as an elementary school principal. This book has been a passion project of Lisa’s since 2008. She is ready to share it with the world! Lisa resides in League City, Texas, with her husband Todd. They have one daughter, Nicole, who resides in California.
