“Mister, are you ok?” A faint voice of a little girl comes to Jonathon’s ears. As he slowly opens his eyes, a blurred, upside down vision of a little girl with short, black hair came into sight. Again the voice said “Mister, are you ok?” Jonathan couldn’t answer because he’s not sure if he was ok or not. Slowly he began to move his head side to side. “He’s alive!” said another little voice. Jonathan’s face is squished against the passenger side window. Vertical, wide, brown lines comes into focus. More children that appeared to be standing vertical also came into focus. A second after that, he is able to speak.

About the Book
A group of gifted children ages 5-15,find themselves in the middle of nowhere,being lead to safety by the young man who, named Jonathan crashed into their bus. They hike a few miles in the woods and find a commune. The people seem nice, but refuse to help them find help. They claim they have no contact with the outside world. While in the commune some of the gifted children find under ground tunnels. In the tunnels they also find pieces of their bus. They also find the person who put them there, and their fate. Soon a week turns into two weeks, turns into a month, then two months. Where is help!!
