About the Author

Dr Veronica Woods graduated at Leicester Medical School in 1996. She maintained her full licence to practice Medicine until July 2012 when she was diagnosed with a rare disorder affecting her brain. Both of my internal carotid Arteries are blocked. She has worked for the NHS for 21 years before retiring through ill health. She had a pontine subarachnoid haemorrhage in January 2012 and subsequent brain vascular surgery to enhance the blood supply to her Brain.
