About the Book

Something seemed to be amiss. This is because sometimes, on certain occasions, when Tuka looked at her husband, she felt suddenly uneasy. It was as if he was familiar in a strange way, like she knew him before from somewhere. Yet this could not be since Tuka had never traveled outside her village, and he came from across the Great River. However, it was as if they had known each other all their lives. She did not let this bother her though, since she was very happy and contented with this man, who was perfect for her. Tuka would find out that there would be great surprises in store for her. She would soon find out things about this perfect husband and about herself—things she would never have imagined.

About the Author

Dr. Emmanuel Obi, a longtime resident of Brooklyn NY, was born in Nigeria, and migrated to the United States in 1974. He received a B.S in Psychology in 1977, and an MBA in 1979 in Springfield Massachusetts. Dr. Obi had experiences in Insurance, Teaching and Mortgage Banking. In 1986, he and his family relocated to Brooklyn NY where he continued with Mortgage Banking and Real Estate Sales and Investments. In 2000, Dr. Obi was inspired to study Theology, and enrolled in Community Bible Institute & Seminary in Brooklyn. He graduated with a Doctor of Theology/Divinity in 2007. Folktales have always been part of the upbringing of an African Child. On a moonlit night in the villages, children gather around to hear fascinating stories from previous generations, as told by the Elders. He still remembers being fascinated by the stirring, song-filled stories of old, retold to him and his siblings by his mother and grandmother. These stories of bold imaginations and worlds unknown have been traditionally handed down through the generations. Dr. Obi credits his mother for her inspiration, and prayers that have seen him through the years, and has brought him thus far. He is married with four children.
