Folktales have always been part of the upbringing of an African Child. On a moonlit night in the villages, children gather around to hear fascinating stories from previous generations, as told by the Elders. He still remembers being fascinated by the stirring, song-filled stories of old, retold to him and his siblings by his mother and grandmother. These stories of bold imaginations and worlds unknown have been traditionally handed down through the generations.
Dr. Obi credits his mother for her inspiration, and prayers that have seen him through the years, and has brought him thus far. He is married with four children.
