About the Book

Anomaly is a refreshingly honest narration of life’s ups and downs. Navigating life with the chains of anxiety and the weight of depression has become something our society deems normal and common, but who says we have to settle for the ordinary? There is something in all of us that yearns for a freedom greater than we are currently experiencing. Anomaly captures those yearnings, revealing the duality of struggle - peace amongst fear, hope in despair, and the heart cries that break forth from the mundane, “Make me an anomaly.”

About the Author

Teauna Harper is a poet, blogger, and short story writer. Some of her earliest memories include writing poetry while sitting on the floor of her parents' home in Prince Georges County, Maryland. As an often quiet and reserved child, storytelling became the lifeline by which she was able to express both the pains and joys of life. With maturity, writing became less of a lifeline and simply became life itself.
