God had an aversion to sin yesterday, today, and forever. God sent his only begotten son, Lord Jesus Christ, whom God loved before the world existed (for remission of sin). This is found in John 17:5 in the New Testament of the Bible. “God said, ‘Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, birds of the air, the beast and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth’” (Genesis 1:26). “There were giants on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God lived with the daughters of men and they bore children to them. God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination and intention of all human thinking was only evil continually” (Genesis 6:4–5). Noah found favor in the eyes of God due to the fact Noah was a just and righteous man.
