About the Author

Dhanpaul Narine was born in Guyana. He is a graduate of the University of Guyana and the London School of Economics. He writes from first-hand experience about his life in a slum. He was raised by his grandmother where the challenges were many but the village provided the values and vitality for survival. Shitty People is Dhanpaul Narine’s debut novel.
