Tony Rhinehart was always the good guy. He minded his own business, helped his friends, and never expected anything in return. But when a strange disease threatened his way of life, a change must come. Sheltering his friends while pushed into the role of both leader and guardian, Tony is faced with making decisions that will not only affect his own well-being but also the safety of those around him. About the Author

Mason Perez’s ability to write in visceral detail is the prime component in what makes his stories so gripping. He doesn’t paint a picture and set a scene, he puts you in it. Describing smell, the way the light feels on your skin through a window, all come together to create an experience that is not easily forgotten. Having taken Advanced Placement classes in English, and currently attending Texas A&M university, he excels in planting subtle nuances that add to the overall tone and atmosphere within every page.
