Undoubtedly the Holy Spirit indwells a Christian (Romans 8:9). His or her unique faith then always translates his or her words at mouth from heart manifesting Jesus regardless circumstances. That means Jesus is alive and He is God! A Christian must remain conscious of it rightly! Jesus breathed the Holy Spirit on His disciples. Today the Holy Spirit enters you. See John 20:21-22, KJV.
- Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
- And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
Then the Holy Spirit becomes your best Teacher (John 14:26;1John 2:27) lifelong. Same way is He for every Christian! He is the translated Word speaks in within like the psalmist says:
- Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path (Psalm 119:105, KJV).
The Holy Spirit anointed David (1 Samuel 16:13)! Holy Spirit is the Teacher compared to light. The Word is likened to be a lamp with a flame to light one’s walk. You are resplendent of light. People come to you and can see what you have seen already, which they would not see before coming to you. You are yourself light for God is light! Light means your divine power to see what none can see without the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul testified to Agrippa in Acts 26:23, KJV:
- That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.
The Holy Spirit is the living light for a Christian! The same testifies Jesus with His ministered truth of the Word leading you to an illumination of love in your Christian heart. This is how the Holy Ghost makes you able to see kingdom of complete darkness to distinguish Kingdom of God being sanguine to walk in the same Kingdom. The Holy Spirit only works in you for your faith in Jesus!
Examine Word:
- When Saul and all Israel heard those words of the Philistine (a Philistine, named Goliath, of Gath) they were dismayed, and greatly afraid (1Samuel 17:11, KJV).
See King Saul and his people Israel were afraid and despaired for the Philistine Goliath. Notice their utter frustration,
- And all the men of Israel, when they saw the man (Goliath), fled from him, and were sore afraid (v. 24, KJV).
Watch David’s faith in the LORD, boldness and confidence to defeat Goliath at his teenage as he had conversation with King Saul. David said about himself to the King:
- Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God (v. 36, KJV).
- David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee (v.37, KJV).
David had faith in the LORD as pure as gold. Faith gave him boldness and confidence. He was anointed by the Holy Spirit beforehand through the Priest Samuel (1 Samuel 16:13). What he saw in those circumstances guided by the Holy Spirit indwelling him, King Saul, his soldiers and people could not see. They saw only Goliath and got terrified, whereas David saw the LORD above! A Christian, like you my beloved youth, even all age groups, bears the Holy Spirit, the living Word. Remember! Jesus said.. I am the light of the world…. (John 8:12, KJV)!
When you are with Him, He makes you see everything on your walkway, which appears to ordinary people just a mystery kernelled and unintelligible for total darkness, an unknowable reality. The Holy Spirit makes you extraordinary, unlike ordinary ones who cannot see rightly. Everything to you is clear and open as broad daylight! Hallelujah! You see devils and their wiles and then you dodge your ways far above satan and his cohorts! Even you help others in your ties.
When all Israel with King Saul were at a loss what to do, David, a teen, came forward for he clearly saw it was easy for him to annihilate Goliath! He knew it for certain that the Holy Spirit will Himself fight. How possible it was! Answer is, read Word with your heart’s love by faith and your hold of patience. You will be a winner and success! When you have proven your love for the Word as pure as gold, not to people’s eyes but to His, God the Father gives you His reward! He has given me the same! Hallelujah!
Notice what David said to the Philistine Goliath. Read his character emboldened with the presence of the Holy Spirit through anointing here in 1Samuel17:45-47, KJV,
- 45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.
- 46 This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
- 47 And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD'S, and he will give you into our hands.
Watch David spoke with confidence and boldness to the Philistine giant. His love for the LORD is unquestioned. His faith holds him non-staggering in the situation (Romans 4:20).
