Embrace yourself and be confident. Don’t be the one who judges; be the one who encourages. This book is about a grandfather and his granddaughter. He teaches the little girl good principles as they explore new creatures and their mysteries, and prepares her for the things that come up in life.

About the Author

I am Swely Avelino. I was born in Angola in 1996 and raised in Holland from the age of four. I started to write when I was ten, writing in my diary about what I was going through and what I liked. I always felt I could not write or keep a dairy because I had to write every day, and I couldn’t do that. I stopped writing for a while and started to write again when I was fifteen or sixteen. This is my first story, completed on 12 May 2015. I don’t want kids to lose their identities but to instead understand their value and importance. I have two little sisters and never want them to lose their value. Doing so kept me from so many things in life. Love is key to everything, and that’s why I love to write for kids. They are the next generation, and it would be sad if they forgot the key things in life.
