About the Book

Rose is an inquisitive little girl who doesn’t think highly of herself until she is exposed to her mother’s uplifting, blossoming garden. This journey between a mother and daughter is guaranteed to lead to positive feelings like confidence and self-acceptance. Little Lady Rose illustrates that experiences, coupled with an adult’s encouragement and support, will foster a child’s self-esteem.

About the Author

As an early childhood educator, mother, pastor’s wife, mentor, speaker, and writer, Tamar Grigsby is known for her passion, influence and compassion. Much of these attributes are due in large part to her career working in educational and community service settings. These experiences opened her eyes to how young children deal with low self-esteem and acceptance; Little Lady Rose, Tamar’s debut novel, promotes self-knowledge and respect for who you are, through the power of words, guidance, and individual insight. She is the founder of the “Lady R.O.S.E Foundation,” which stands for Raising Our Self Esteem. This foundation specializes in developing, mentoring, and educating young girls. It was established to create strong and determined leaders for the future by increasing self – esteem and confidence through various opportunities, exposure, and connections. Tamar currently resides in Fresno, California with her husband and beautiful children.
