About the Book
My love for you is like the moon’s for the ocean, constantly pulling you in and then thinking maybe I don’t need you. Only to realize that I am nothing without you ... —Megan Pollak The ocean is calling all of us whether we are a low tide, a hopeful shore, or a glimmering light in the abyssal darkness. In her debut collection of poetry, Megan Pollak intertwines the ocean’s beating heart with themes that connect to nature’s beauty and imperfections while encouraging humanity to embrace hope, love, and everything inbetween. Through poignant verse, Pollak provides a glimpse into the joys of finding love, the agony of losing love, and the personal growth that comes with embracing all our feelings. voodoo shares poems from a fresh voice that illustrate the symbolism between nature and love and encourage all of us to never lose hope.
