Kaina-kaine Sonsiama is a member of a christian royal family of the Kono District of Sierra Leone, where she was born..Her father was a head teacher and one of the Authors of Kono Hymn book, which inspired her to become an author. She wrote several poems, children’s books and religious books.She is the author of Jim’s birthday Surprise.She qualified as a teacher at Milton Margai College of Education and Technology in affiliations with the University of Sierra Leone. She is also a Professional Registered childcare provider.Now a British Citizen, she lives in Bristol, United Kingdom. She is a mother and a grandmother.
