I Kept My Promise! is a story of how a murder, a question, and an accusation changed my life. It is a guide into understanding and catering to a woman who is about to lose her hair while living with cancer. It is specifically geared toward salons and stylists to be equipped when catering to this specific client. It is also an aid for family and friends who have no clue on how to approach this touchy subject. The book is in three parts my story, advice to salons, references into asking the right questions and a guide into the right direction! It addresses four major areas: 1. Living with a degenerative disease 2. Psychosomatic issues 3. Malnutrition 4. Hair loss In order to understand her hair loss, you need to connect with the other three.

About the Author

OZZY VERA a native of Newark, New Jersey of Puerto Rican descent with a 25 plus year history in the beauty industry , salon owner , master wig designer, entrepreneur, international lecturer and finally author. Nothing had prepared him many years ago prior when his late aunt asked him the most profound question that still follows him till this day CAN YOU HELP ME WITH MY HAIR? She was living with cancer, begining chemotherapy and losing her hair. Totally forgotten until years later upon opening his own salon the question rose again through a totally unexpected person with total hair loss. Not only did OZZY master answering her question but has been able to answer every imaginable question that entails losing your hair while living with cancer! Finally OZZY’S PROMISE has been FULLFILLED!
