About the Book
In the dark room of life we hear important echo messages coming from an unknown source, so difficult to decipher, “echoes of the invisible”, a poetry collection of solutions, light and revelations. In the book, the poet stretched his hands wide in discussing virtually all angles of human life, emotional, social, moral, and economical aspects of life. Echoes of the invisible; the writer used himself as a point of contact to people out there. It is magical in the sense that whoever picks this book must find a poem that resolves, discusses, consoles and confirms his current situation. He calls it the healing poem or the poems of revival. The wordings in a way tried to reconcile the vices in the society; it is a book for all, as it is more than just a poetic work of art.
About the Author
Ugwu Leonard Elvis also known as “Leonard D Great” was born and brought up in Nsukka, Enugu Nigeria. He hails from Nkalagu-obukpa in Igbo-EzeSouth local government area of Enugu state, Nigeria. He started writing stories and his thoughts at the age of seven. He obtained his B.sc in Political Science at Caritas University Amorji Nike Emene, Enugu, Nigeria; and his currently studying for his Master’s degree programme (M.Sc.) in International Relations at the prestigious University of Nigeria Nsukka. He is a poet, playwright, short story writer, prose writer, and also a writer of prose-poeta. He is a lover of literary and creative works of art with more literary works yet unpublished that are still going through editing. Such literary works going through editing include: the prose “in Alexandria”, “Zinjanthropus” (a prose-poeta) and a play “virgins are foolish” etc. He won several literary awards in school such as the best editor of the year 2012, the best poet in 2013 and the best poem in 2014, and was given the current best writer in his institution before he graduated. Currently he is the president of World Union of Poets (WUP) Enugu chapter Nigeria, and also the co-ordinator Creative Writers Association of Nigeria (CWAN) Enugu state chapter. His poem has been published in many literary magazines, journals, newspapers and websites. He has equally contributed and championed notable poetry anthologies pertaining world peace, and has been elected top ten poets list of the Pengician website in 2016. Leonard views the world as that which was erected by poets and many of his tender literary works can be found in Google.
