About the Author

Bio of Missy Izard-Schenck and David Sheldon Missy Izard-Schenck was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. She resides in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina where their family runs a residential summer camp for children. David Sheldon is the owner and creator of Sheldon Studioworks, based in Asheville, North Carolina. He has over thirty years experience as a visual artist and designer including the illustration of over seventy-five children’s books.
