About the Book

This book is about self-empowerment and the aspiration to personally grow. Upon reading the poems, the author hopes the reader begins to see the individual power they have to create positive change. The views expressed in the poetry ask the reader to look at any difficult circumstance in a new light and find the internal strength they possess to help navigate toward meeting their goals. Inside the book contain philosophical ideas that can provide an altered perspective on how best to serve self-interest when making decisions in various situations.


About the Author

Daniel grew up in Torrance, California with his mother, father, and younger sister. Daniel lost his father due to a terrible car accident when he was in high school and remains very close with his mother and sister. He moved to Tucson, Arizona to attend college and went to University of Arizona and Arizona State University. Daniel resides in Tucson to raise his two kids, his daughter Baylee and his son Micah. Daniel is currently a medical social worker working for the Tohono O’odham Nation in Sells and is pursuing his clinical social work license.
