About the Author

Peggy Perdue is new at writing books but not new to writing. Even back in middle school she won honors for stories that she wrote. Always having it a goal to write children’s books, she took extra writing classes in college. Her degree is in Interpreting for the Deaf. Knowing that she would often be speaking for people who are deaf, she took Public Speaking and Composition I and II. She has also taken a few online classes for writing. Peggy has been writing for years. She has written articles for her church newsletter and written a few articles for a newsletter that is sent to other interpreters. Peggy grew up in Ohio, got married in Ohio, raised her children in Ohio, went to Akron University and Myers University, both in Ohio. She says the summers are great and the winters aren’t brutal. A perfect place to be.
