About the Book
Immanence lets the reader experience David Banks’s demise and redemption against the background of his mother and sisters. Because his fractured life is grounded in art, his chosen profession, he is able to transcend his prejudices. His singular existence began long before his conception and birth. It comes from a life force that is universal; it has no personal identity, and it is pure. Art drives the story and illuminates the dynamic interplay between each character who has a part to play in the unfolding story.
About the Author
Sherryl Brown has worked in several art galleries, owned her own business as an agent for artists, and has written numerous published articles on the work of sculptors and painters she represented. Presently, she lives in Wheaton, Illinois and is tutoring German students. In 1998 she retired from Austin Community College in Austin, Texas where she taught German and Physical Education. For several years she worked in Germany teaching Physical Education in a German Grundschule. Much of the philosophical content of Immanence is the result of her studies in philosophy and her work with the sculptor, Johann Eyfells.
