About the Book
The Chalet is a mixture of both old and the very new and modern. The main structure are the ruminates of a medieval castle over three hundred years old. It consists of two main floors of over fifty feet in height plus a third underground room. It is surrounded by a fifty foot wide mote. The castle and grounds are set in the mountains just south and east of Dresden, Germany. The countryside is covered in forests, as well as farms and pastures. Many small towns dot the area.
About the Author
I drew from many sources for this set of stories. I wanted to delve into the both how the Rich relaxed from their many stressful jobs to the dark side of society. Events from the nightly news, articles, stories, the movies and even Sadam Husans torture rooms drew me into the many lifestyles. I spent several hundred hours researching the area in Germany to its people and the names of the many different time periods. The lifestyles included hours of computer research to the interviewing of those in the many different groups, even a tour of a modern dungeon and its toys. News articles of kidnappings and the torture of individuals brought on the rest. I guess that I just want to explore how people with money rest and play.
