Set shortly after WWII, the winds of change are not just sweeping the people of Africa but also its wildlife. The native population is exploding, colonialism is dying, and the wilderness is shrinking. The cruel deaths of a father and son and the foolish mistake of an elephant are the catalysts for a violent showdown between the old and new Africa. Abandoned and alone, Disa, a first-time elephant mother, must make a perilous journey with her newborn calf through the unforgiving wilderness to reunite and reconcile with her family. There will be bloody confrontations with a sexually provocative colonialist couple, lions, hyenas, and a young native boy desperate and determined to kill his first elephant. Brutal and beautiful as a good adventure should be, Africa Never Forgives is a fascinating story of survival told from the perspective of both man and animal that will challenge everything you believe.

About the Author

Guns Core has delivered newspapers, flipped burgers, pumped gas, weeded orchards, pulled duty on the Korean DMZ, chased bad guys and tucked them into bed, sailed across the Pacific, raced horses, hunted three continents, travelled to forty-one countries (so far) and has now written this novel. His day job is being a CPA. In 2002, he made a three-margarita decision and booked a ten-day safari in Zimbabwe. It is now 2017 and he has just returned from his 22nd African adventure. Guns has combined his experiences and training to produce AFRICA NEVER FORGIVES. He likes to think of it as the Bad Ass elephant version of Bambi and a cross between Call of the Wild and Things Fall Apart. It is his sincere hope it will help eliminate the demand for Blood Ivory. Guns Core is 59 years old, married with one eight-year-old daughter living in Southern California.
