Awesome Alpacas is a children’s book that describes some of the character traits and humorous idiosyncrasies of alpacas. Alpacas are delightful hoofed animals originating from Peru and bred for their soft, warm fleece. They have unique personalities that entertain young and old alike!

About the Author

L.G. Crossman is an educator, lover of literature, and animal enthusiast. She is a full-time elementary school teacher, as well as a full-time alpaca farmer, in rural Virginia. She raises alpacas, chickens, dogs, fish, reptiles, amphibians, and other interesting critters. L.G. loves to write for children, and for adults who are children at heart. Alison M. Gause is an artist and animal lover, who uses her art to raise awareness of animals and nature. She enjoys capturing unique expressions and moments found in the natural world. Alison gets inspiration from her many pets, as well as her outdoor adventures in her home state of New Jersey, and beyond.
