About the Book

This book was written for everyone who desires to be understood. I wrote it because it needed to be said in a simple but straightforward fashion. I’ve shared some of my life experiences in this book with the aim of helping those who wish to improve their interactions at home, on the job, in the gym, on the street, in shops, or anywhere people share space with one another, where there is potential for misunderstandings, hurt feelings, misplaced comments, and anything else that causes people to feel uncomfortable. I am sure you will soon see the benefits of understanding and using these simple rules of engagement.

About the Author

I was born in North Carolina in a small town. My family was midsized for those days, and we all did our best to live as harmoniously as ten people could in a close space. After my formal schooling, I was sent to Germany by my employer, Uncle Sam. After a short time, I decided to pursue a different career, and then I began to see the world as I do today. I have attempted to share some of the valuable lessons I have learned over the last thirty-plus years of engaging with people from all parts of the global village we all live in.
