About the Book
For many years I would write down my thoughts that were stored within me not realizing there was a book inside me waiting to come out, and yet for as long as I can remember I wanted to share my emotions and creative thoughts with you the reader a wider audience than myself and my family and I did not think of writing a book until I was in my late forties. This collection of poems have been written and created with the intention of reaching and touching the deepest part of you the reader and with the intent to take you and your thoughts away to a more peaceful and calmer place. I believe words are powerful and so if words are strung together with careful thought my thinking was it would make an interesting and powerful reading. No matter what the genre, mine just happens to be poetry. For as long as I can remember I have always wanted to share “my thoughts” with an audience which is you the reader just for someone to recognize that feeling within these poems that would be for me an admission of a creative work well done as yes they are my thoughts written down on paper but without you the reader these poems for me would be meaningless and my thoughts and poems may as well stay as thoughts. A friend said to me you need to let it get out there you need to share your talent and do not be afraid to own it and call it no less than that, and let it shine out and I hope and pray you the reader will be the overall judge of that.Thank you Lorna I am learning to do exactly that. This book of poem was written for so many reasons but none more so than for your enjoyment and elicit reading .
