After endless fields, farms, small towns and horse-drawn buggies, I arrive at the address of the lake house. The property is serene. Much of it is wooded but there's a large clearing in the back with a beautiful view of the lake. It's difficult to convince myself, I'm not looking at an ocean. Waves roll onto the shore and the water meets the sky—it's breathtaking. The sun hangs low in the evening sky. I suppose the feeling, in my stomach, is butterflies. I think it could be mistaken for a 747. After a few moments of no answer to the doorbell, I knock loudly on the door. I take the liberty and walk around to the back of the house.
I know it's her, even from a distance. She has more curves than her petite body should allow. Her hair must weigh as much as she does. It's long, thick, beautiful and hangs to her tiny waist. The sun is setting. She's standing in water to her mid-thighs. The strings holding the small patches of pink fabric against her are tied in loose bows on the curve of her hips and trail down her thighs. The windows in the back of the house are open, leading to a large room made entirely of glass. The view is a grove of trees and the lake beyond. I walk through the trees and stop where the grass becomes rocky sand. I don't cross the stretch of beach to the water. I know if I get to where she's standing, I won't stop myself from touching her, and right now I just want to watch her. Something about this moment is so right, Emerson standing motionless in the brilliant mandarin light of the day as the sun begins to fall. She trails her fingers through the water and the peace she feels radiates into me. Every mile I drove is worth it. I'd drive a million miles for a moment like this. The breeze blows and Em's hair flows over her shoulders. She quickly turns her head to the left, using her delicate fingers to move hair from her face. That's when she sees me. She looks quickly, then turns back, as if her eyes are cheating her.
"Ashe?" She sounds meek and disbelieving.
"Hey, Emmie." I've never called her that. But it just comes out and it carries a tenderness even in my gravelly voice.
There's only silence. But our eyes, they say so much. She turns completely around to face me, the sunset is behind her. The silhouette of the hourglass of her body is more perfect than any painting. Her breasts look much fuller than I remember. Ample swells of creamy flesh surround tiny pink triangles which cover her thick, round, hard nipples. Very hard. Her bronzed skin is covered with water droplets.
I see questions in her eyes.
"Your dad told me where you were."
"My dad?"
"Yes."
"I'm surprised he told you where I was over the phone."
"He didn't. Your mom gave me the address before I left your parents' house. Your dad wasn't telling me anything other than, 'You were at the lake house.' I drove there because I wanted to…"
"You were at my parents' house?"
"Like I said, I wanted to see you, Em. Your mom has a message she wants me to deliver."
"Is everything all right?" She takes steps toward me and comes out of the water.
"Yes. Yes, everything is fine." She stops and breathes relief. "I love you, baby girl."
"What did you say?" Her eyes widen.
"That's the message from your mom."
"Oh." She smiles sweetly. "Thank you for the special delivery."
"It was my pleasure," boy was it ever. "I have a message of my own."
"You do?"
"I miss you." She leaps into my arms. "I came here because I needed to." I exhale the words into her neck as I breathe in her scent. Fuck, I've missed her. Every nerve in my body is exhilarated to be near her. I feel like it's been a lifetime since I've felt anything and now I feel everything at once and nothing else exists. Nothing but us.
I'm wrapped around her, holding her close against me. We're pinned between the cool evening air and the heat of the blazing, setting sun. "I could stay here, with you, forever." The words spill from my lips.
"We can't stay here forever, Ashe."
"Then I'll go anywhere, Emerson. If you're there, I'll go anywhere." She shifts and looks back at me.
"Do you really mean that?"
One more look into her amber eyes and I know I've never been more certain of anything in my life. "With everything in me." With her head against my neck, we gaze as the sun melts into an ocean of dazzling color.

We walk lazily up the beach to the lawn of the property. It's darker among the dense trees which cover much of the area. I follow Em into the house, entering the room which is all glass, through one of three sets of doors. Having been outside, I can appreciate the view from inside and why it's all windows. There's only a soft, dim glow from a single lamp sitting on a small black table, next to…
"A bed?" I don't realize I spoke the words aloud until Emerson responds.
"Excuse me?"
"Oh, I just wasn't expecting this to be a bedroom." Being in a bedroom with Emerson right now isn't the best course of action for curbing my seemingly endless urge to be inside her.
"It's okay," she giggles, "no need to be frightened. I don't bite. Well," she pauses, "I won't bite, that makes more sense," she corrects and my cock twitches. Oh, I know she bites.
