About the Book

Being a book about poetry, it does hit upon the trials and tribulations of life on a daily basis. The book, upon personal reflection, is very hard-hitting and sometimes offers graphic insights into how I do perceive things. As with most people, I have had life throw obstacles in my way. People deal with these obstacles in various different ways. For me, writing is my way of dealing with obstacles. People often say, “A problem shared is a problem halved.” I hope reading this book can help share some of my problems, and in turn I hope to help the readers with their problems. I hope people enjoy this book and remember “the daily torment when you know the truth about lies.”

About the Author

I am a thirty-four-year-old married Irish man. I have worked in a career for the past thirteen years and enjoy doing so. I am a very family-oriented man, and I’m an animal lover. As with most people, I deal a lot with mental issues that plague our society today. Writing is only one source of help available to me for dealing with life’s problems. I enjoy hiking and cycling, and my favourite place to do this is Killarney Co. Kerry. I do feel that most of my work is both honest and true, but I criticize my work fiercely every time I write. My friends and colleagues would say that I am a big presence and a stand-out figure from the crowd. I have also been accused of being loyal and trustworthy. My wife agrees with most of this, but she knows the truth behind the smile. I am myself an extremely confident and assertive person, and I do generally speak without much thought. I would class myself as a good person, but there is always truth behind the lies.
