This book has been written for Christian Ministers and for all those who are seeking to become one. ‘Hot coals of Fire’ is the title that the author has chosen because it well describes the spiritual realities of Divine ministry. Throughout his forty years of Christian life and ministry, the author has become increasingly aware of the need to remind those who are engaged in the ministry of Christ; that they are handling the holy things of God. In an age where spiritual things are not readily understood, it is the ignorance of the sacred that has caused many to be “burned.” ‘Hot coals of Fire’ will hopefully help to redress this imbalance - gently but firmly warning the Ministers of Christ, that working for God is a wonderful and yet, dangerous thing!

About the Author

Rev. Stephen Goundry is the founder and senior pastor of the International Christian Institute, located in Boca Raton, Florida. He and his family came to the United States of America on October 2000 after living most of their lives in England. Previous to his arrival, Stephen had been a missionary for many years in Russia, Romania, and East Germany; and it was the overwhelming needs that he found in Romania that caused him to form the UK Charity “Operation Joseph”—a work of humanitarian aid to the poor of Eastern Europe. The International Christian Institute began in 2002 as a Florida, not-for-profit religious organization in order to continue the spiritual and humanitarian work of medical missions in South America, Central America, and the Caribbean. In 2008, the ministry became a church from which many other aspects of God’s work could then be accomplished. Along with Pastor Stephen’s preaching and teaching has been the much-needed mentoring of Christian leaders. His abilities in this area have been deeply appreciated, and he has become for many, a “Minister’s Minister.”
