About the Book
In the shadows of our society immortals live among mortals. Mysterious beings with powers beyond the comprehension of humans. These people are known as card holders and since the very beginning they have fought and some have even died for the greater good of others. But to all great forces of good there is always a dark side. The side of reverse, it corrupts, twist and controls the people who succumb to its temptations. Card holders stood against the side of reverse in the first war of prophecy. But what if one of these heroic champions suddenly became the very evil he sought to defeat? A great tragedy befell the super natural world. Friends fought friends, holders fought holders and the world of humans remained ignorant to it all. Centuries later after the fires of the last prophecy war have been extinguished and the bodies long since buried a new holder known as Cadal emerges, some might say it was by accident others say fate. Whatever the reason his destiny will direct the fate of the world. This is the beginning of his story in the world of prophecy.
About the Author
At first I wrote as a simple pass time, but what started as something to keep me occupied on a long bus journey or car ride soon developed into a passion and before I knew it I had made a novel. I loved making the characters and watching them go through their story as I put it to paper. The process of turning this from a few sentences into what could become a published book wasn't something I did alone, so I need to thank some people. I'd like to thank my proof reader Robert McWhinnie for his honest feedback and advice, as well as my girlfriend’s father Alan Craig for his ideas and suggestions that really helped to improve the story. I'd also like to thank my girlfriend Rachel Craig for not only her help to design the cover and her editing of my punctuation and grammar, but also her and my family’s encouragement of my dream. I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoyed the writing.
