Sara and the Farm

About the Book

This story is about a little girl named Sara. She was born May 19, 1922, on a small farm in Boone County, Tennessee. You might say they were on the poorer side of the family. But the rest of the family was always there for each other and worked side by side in good times and bad. This book tells you her story from when she had a little-girl heart till she is full grown. She loved to make homemade gifts and was always happy with what she received.

About the Author

My name is Sharon V. Deese. I live in a small town in Florida, this is my second book. It all started when my husband John passed away. I made a bucket list there were things I wanted to do that I couldn’t before. I wanted to go to Arizona to see my son, done. I wanted to go to San Diego to see the ship that my father sailed, done. I wanted to go to Mexico, done. That was the first few things. From 27 wishes now down to two things, find someone I could love with all my heart that was done. The last thing on my list was write a book, so as I kept trying it went into the garbage. It isn’t as easy as I had hoped it would be. I was working on a receiving dock when an idea started in my head so between vendors I start my first poem. It was all done by the time I left work. I don’t know where the idea came from but I was writing from my heart. Always and Forever started the book. Titled Poems and short story by Sharon D. Vojtko.
