About the Author

Reverend Beverly D. Thomas is a pastor, evangelist, television producer, writer, and celebrated author. Rev. Thomas is the senior pastor of A Passion for Christ Ministries in Chicago, Illinois, which has been established with more than nineteen churches. The Gospel is spread through tapes, music, television, skits, and literature all over the city, state, and abroad. Pastor Thomas has taken three missionary journeys throughout South Africa, spreading the redemptive message of Jesus Christ. The Light Still Shines (PFC) broadcast is produced and directed by Rev. Thomas and is broadcasted weekly on WJYS-62/Oxford Media Group television each Saturday morning. Through such ministries as Cater-the-Word, A Passion for Christ Ministries is reaching those persons who are unable to come to the church. One of her greatest emphases is on the youth. Through such programs as the Teen Forum, the youth are able to come and receive strength from leaders within the church as well as outside leaders who are invited to come and encourage them.
