About the Author
Michelle Dahl is married with three grown children and four young grandchildren. She is also a retired elementary school teacher. Writing and art were two of her favorite subjects to teach. It was inevitable they were to be her passion to pursue in retirement. Her debut book, A Walk with Grandpere began as a teaching tool for modeling narrative writing to her intermediate-aged students. When sharing her passion for the written word with her students, she realized how much children could connect with the themes of family, traditions, and memories. They encouraged her to create a book version, and with their support plus that of countless other friends and family members, she is now able to share this with readers of all ages. Michelle resides with her husband, Greg, and their two dogs, Nina and Gabe, in Illinois. When not writing, drawing, or painting, Michelle can be found gardening, making new adventures with her grandchildren, or traveling throughout the United States as well as internationally with her husband.
